Why did the customer contact us?
The customer called Camelot Emergency Water Removal due to a broken ice maker line in their refrigerator. There was resulting flooding in their kitchen, causing water damage to their drywall, cabinetry and tile floor. The water damage from the ice maker also migrated to the customer’s basement causing flooding in their living room and cedar closet.
Solutions provided:
The project manager, Ben was able to arrive on site within 30 minutes and start assessing the water damage in the kitchen and basement. After marking all of affected areas, and establishing a drying plan, Ben helped the customers contact their insurance company. The customers were adamant that they wanted to save the tile flooring that spanned through most of their main floor. Instead of tearing it out, the highly trained water damage experts at Camelot were able to use specialized drying techniques to dry the tile floor from the top and the bottom. Within a few short days, the customer’s home was dried out to its pre-flood condition.
