A home in Vicksburg, Michigan suffered from an appliance leak. This leak affected the wood floors in the kitchen down into the basement crawl space below. It was determined the water loss was due to a refrigerator line leak. The homeowner called us to ensure proper drying of their home.
Camelot Emergency Water Removal Project Manager, Tim Young, arrived at the home in less than an hour to begin assessing the damage in the kitchen and into the basement crawl space below. Once he communicated the process with the homeowner he got a crew immediately out to the home. Our crews began with disinfecting the affected areas in the kitchen and crawl space. They then set up specialized drying equipment to ensure proper drying to the wood floors in the kitchen. Drying was also set up in the crawlspace. The home was dry in 3 days.
